The biggest ‘little thing’ in karting is the Comer SW-80 engine. This compact 2-stroke features
the convenience and safety of a centrifugal clutch and pull-start, making it the ideal engine for ‘sub-junior’ karting, or even for the young recreational karter. All this from one of the most successful names in all levels of international karting.

The Comer SW80 is used in the Midget class (7 to 10 year olds)

and propelled some of Australia’s greatest champions through the formative stages of their careers
and onto greater success.

tear-down intervals.

The Yamaha KT100J is used in the following classes:
Midgets Class with a restrictor plate (7 to 10 year olds)
Rookies Class with a larger restrictor plate (10-13 year olds)

TThe IAME Parilla Leopard RL and the all new Leopard X30 engines are developed as real race engines with the reliability and durability of a recreational engine.

This gives karters the best of both worlds - True race engine performance and tuneability along with long periods between major rebuilds, allowing maximum enjoyment from karting.

Being watercooled not only extends the engine's life, but also improves performance and reduces noise.
The integrated generator charges the battery while the engine is in use, while KEY starting brings to an end the dangerous task of push-starting karts. The centrifugal clutch not only allows the kart to be driven away from a standstill, but also allows drivers to rejoin the track or continue after a off-track experience.

The IAME Parilla Leopard RL and Leopard X30 are used in the following classes:
Junior Performance, with a restrictor plate (13 – 16 year olds)
Tag Restricted and TAG Unrestricted (16 years +)
Leopard Light and Lepoard Heavy (16 years +)
